Brokeback Mtn., T-minus 70 days

If you're as much of a fan of Towleroad as I am, you have been anticipating the coming of Brokeback Mountain for months. The movie about two cowboys who fall in love, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, is one of the most-anticipated gay-themed movies ever.

Dan and I saw Flightplan earlier this week (MUCH better than the reviews - go see it) and were treated to the trailer for Brokeback Mountain. Damn, it looks good. With Ang Lee directing, the shots in the trailer of the mountains of Montana look stunning.

What I think is most appealling to most people is the ruggedness of this gay love story. Movies are so full of gay dancers, gay singers, gay waiters, it's going to be hella cool to see two rugged (even if their chests are shaven) gay cowboys.
