"A Native New Yorker"
I got this great email today from someone who obviously doesn't like my perspectives. Notice the namecalling - a typical Elitist Liberal reaction. And notice the "I know what's best for everybody" tone (accentuated by the classic signature):
"The repsonses [sic] you gave on your site from Walmart [sic] to the Bowery Bar are
so amazingly "Lame" [sic].
The reason people moved away from the middle of America was to get away
from conservative nut cases like you. If you enjoy Walmart [sic] and smoke
free environments so much, either stay home or move back to Kansas. You
really did move to the wrong city...
Signed,
A Native New Yorker"
LOL. I'm not even FROM Kansas. Don't know where they got that. I'm from Massachusetts, a great bastion of this person's beloved liberalism.
The perfect part of it is that my Yahoo! mail account correctly put it in the Junk mail folder.
Of course, this person didn't have the balls to actually sign the email with his/her name. "Wah wah wah. Stay out of my precious city. Wah wah wah." God forbid I should actually expect people to abide by a law that is meant to protect everyone else's health. Of course, this is probably the same person who whines that everyone doesn't have health care (then also complains about people who oppose cancer-causing activity).
Sorry about the rambling. I just loved this email. It brightened my day.
