Paris Bennett: reason to watch American Idol
We love watching these disaster episodes of American Idol running right now, where people make fools of themselves singing in hopes of making it to Hollywood. But, once the show moves to Hollywood, it kinda sucks.
Not so now. Paris Bennett, whom the show discovered while in North Carolina, is the real deal. She has a squeaky speaking voice, reminiscent of Macy Grey, but she has a set of pipes on her that sent all three judges into a frenzy. Even Simon Cowell, who is often negative with singers (and usually justifiably so), was throwing praise on the girl.
So many of the contestants go onto the show with a lot of attitude. Not this girl. She seems humble and just happy to be there. And when they tell her she's headed to Hollywood, she collapses before she can get out of the audition room. She seems very genuine and very special.

Her tragedy is that her voice does not match with her physical appearance. She does have a superb voice, but she does not have star quality.

people need to stop hating. just because you may like another contestant like the vocal coach girl. you just have to give credit to whom its to the girl Paris is just bad to the bone anything you put in front of her she can sing it. she is awsom America please dont be stupid.

Paris is one of my best friends and the most warm hearted and loving people i know. Im so happy for her, she deserves this more than anyone! Her voice is one to give you chills all over and she always has. Paris if you read this girl you know i love you and that i got you back throughout this whole thing and through your whole career and life! You gonna win this thing for sure if i have anything to do with it! Your my Princess for life!
