Electoral map explains it
If things were this bad for me, I might be jumping up and down, screaming, trying to discredit the mastermind behind my defeat as well. Just look at this map of the 2004 electoral votes (red=Bush; blue=Kerry). But I've got news for you, folks: it isn't going to get any bluer with the way the Dems are conducting themselves.

For people who know nothing about politics and aren't better informed about geography, this map might seem a bit deceiving, considering the U.S. landmass is overwhelmingly rural, and just about every urbanized area voted "blue." The peception, looking at this map, would be that more than 3/4 of the nation is "red" -- 3/4 of the land might be, but the voters certainly aren't, as we know from the last election, when the split was roughly 51% voting for George W. and 48% for John Kerry
