Frist shows GOP willing to admit mistakes

Few were as adamant that Terry Schiavo should be kept alive as Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. A doctor, Frist said that there was not proof that she was in a persistent vegitative state.

On Thursday, Frist said that autopsy reports showed that she did, in fact have severe brain damage and that she was never coming back. It was probably a tough pill to swallow for him, but I am impressed that he was willing to admit that maybe he was on the wrong side of this one. I'm glad he did it.
